DM Keyword Replies lets an Instagram professional account send an automatic reply when someone sends a direct message containing a keyword the account owner has set up (for example, "SHOP").
When someone messages a connected Instagram account, Instagram sends the app the message text and an Instagram-scoped ID for the sender. We use this only to check the message for a keyword and send the matching reply.
We keep a short activity log (the keyword, the first part of the message, and the time) so the account owner can see which replies were sent. The log holds the most recent 100 entries; older entries are deleted automatically. We do not store sender names, profile information, or photos.
We do not sell, rent, or share message data with anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not send messages to anyone who has not messaged the account first.
The account owner's Instagram access token is stored securely on our server and used only to send replies on that account's behalf.
To have your data deleted, email staff@anabrandt.com with your Instagram username. We will delete any related log entries within 30 days. Account owners can disconnect the app at any time in Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
